1. Eligibility
1.1. The Startup Grant Program is open to startups, entrepreneurs, and individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a resident and registered entity in Bangladesh.
- The startup must not have received prior grants from any government program.
1.2. Applicants must submit their proposals by February 17, 2025, through the designated portal on the iDEA website (www.idea.gov.bd).
2. Application Process
2.1. Applications must be completed using the official application form available online.
2.2. All required supporting documents must be submitted, including but not limited to:
- Proof of identity or business registration.
- A detailed business proposal (the given template).
2.3. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
3. Grant Allocation
3.1. Selected startups will be eligible for grants of up to BDT 10 lakh (can be given on multiple tranches).
3.2. The funds must be used solely for the purposes outlined in the approved business proposal.
3.3. Recipients must comply with all reporting requirements, including submitting regular progress reports to the iDEA project team.
4. Responsibilities of Applicants
4.1. By applying, the applicant warrants that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete.
4.2. Recipients are responsible for ensuring that their business activities comply with all relevant laws and regulations in Bangladesh.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. Any intellectual property disclosed in the application remains the property of the applicant.
5.2. The organizer will treat all submissions as confidential and will not use proprietary information for any purpose other than the evaluation of applications.
6. Disqualification
6.1. Applications may be disqualified for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Submission of false or misleading information.
- Misalignment with the iDEA pre-seed grant mandate.
- Failure to comply with deadlines or requirements.
- Due to insufficient innovation or proposal quality.
- Non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
6.2. The organizer reserves the right to revoke grant approvals in cases of misconduct or non-performance.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. The organizer is not liable for any direct or indirect losses incurred by applicants as part of the application process.
7.2. The organizer reserves the right to amend, cancel, or postpone the program at its sole discretion.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an application, the applicant acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
